EDIT.... Never mind... user error.

I've just installed a560-100a-1.1.0-2447-full on my A560. It's working fine, but the camera won't turn on when connected to an external power supply with the CHDK card installed. The camera will boot just fine w/o CHDK while on remote power. I'm very confused..... Should I suspect a weak or bad power supply?

That is very strange, it's hard to see how CHDK would would be responsible. If you can try a different power supply, that would certainly be a good test.

FWIW, CHDK runs fine on my a540 an external power supply.

What method are you using to boot CHDK - "firmware update" or "SD Card Lock" ?

When you say the camera boots just fine w/o CHDK does that mean it boots with no SD card installed ? Or with the SD card installed but the SD card lock in the "unlocked" position ? Or with a different SD card ? What happens if you try booting via the firmware update method ?
