Since yesterday (23 Oct 08) the program falsely reports the Trac site as unreachable host,
so here is CHDK-Shell-v177.zip - 1.06MB

  • removed ping before checking trunk & branch pages
    (tools.assembla.com seems to not accept pings anymore,
    at least not on the domain root)

  • moved GUI sizes/scaling info to 'GUI Config ...' tooltip; title bar now includes build info instead

maybe the MMCCCWG (Massive Multi Coder CHDK Compiling Windows Gui) Users brought it down :D

I should probably ping google or microsoft instead, since they should "always" be up,
i guess that would be a reasonable way to check if internet connection is available

that's for a next version though, works fine here without ...

Rapidshare link for CHDK-Shell-v177 gives an over 10 D/L error. Says wrong account type.
 
Also just want to say, you people and CHDK are great.

thanks for reporting ! i hope R-Share didn't keep you from getting the development kit; if it did
you can now get it from the same site, thanks to fe50.

'New' version 1.78 here: CHDK-Shell-v178.zip - 1.06MB

Changes: no code changes, host changed (thanks mariush) and download link to devkit changed (thanks, fe50)

Here is CHDK-Shell-v179.zip - 1.06MB

- a substantial increase in camera properties in camera.h caused an array overflow in 547 - fixed for now
  (i should make affected arrays size dynamically in a future version)

sorry, didnt know you had a limit in there. this actual piece of code will be subject to change in the next releases, as it somehow works, but it not optimized. (see the other thread).
