@phox

No need to say sorry: using fixed size arrays is a sign of programmers laziness,
i would even say short-sightedness, because it means more work in the end  :D
just look at it this way: i'm the lucky guy, i get my sudoku's delivered at home
every day of the week  :lol

After playing a couple of days with 1.79, here's CHDK-Shell-v180 "Netbook Special" [ed: link removed]

  • will now auto reduce size when first started on host computer with desktop height < 690

  • cam tooltips now only show 'cam properties' which start with "CAM_", and the poor old A450
    cam properties are shown as well; note that the cam tips are still too big to show properly
    on small screens for cams in the middle of the list

enjoy,

wim

PS forgot to update readme with text above :( next time

  • added changes for 1.80 to readme.txt

CHDK-Shell-v182.zip - 1.06MB

  • reworked camera properties, now show in message box when cam name is clicked
    works much better on lo-res/Netbook screens, and you get as much time as you like to watch'em  :D

  • added support for compile options in 'buildconf.inc' (new since trunk552);
    still supports them in makefile.inc too

enjoy,

wim

CHDK-Shell-v183.zip - 1.06MB

  • fixed various small bugs related to reworking the cam properties + removed bold cam names

  • made conditional compile dialog follow sizing -> more space on small screens

  • 'source tools' now default to 'visible' and remember settings (sorry it took so long, phox)

enjoy,
wim
