CHDK-Shell-v210 (update and full version)

  • fixed: more 'polishing' of the miniGUI windows z-ordering

  • added: animation effects while changing between main and mini GUI
    (use the existing 'GUI ...' button above logo to turn off and select speed for all animations)

CHDK-Shell-v212 (update and full version)

  • changed: separate controls for window animation and shutdown message

  • changed GCC 4.3.3 in the full version: after discovering that previous GCC 4.3.3 refused to run on my ancient Pentium I 133 MHz / 160 MB mini notebook, while the original GCC 3.4.6 did work, i used it (the mini notebook) to recompile GCC ( > 12 hours  :D ) which restored full CHDK-Shell functionality on this machine (Fujitsu LifeBook B110)
    Testing has shown full compatibility and no speed penalty on my newer computers,  so here it is ...

Could you pls also provide a gcc 4.3.3 version running under Win311 on a 286-12/2MB  :P

CHDK-Shell-v213 (update and full version)

  • changed: now only main window has a taskbar button (all others have 'popup' style)

  • changed: in full version GCC 4.3.3 has now been compiled WITHOUT the '--with-cpu=arm9' flag.
    this stops the assembler from complaining about unsupported 'BLX <register>' commands, so now
    trunk 730 compiles without errors for SX10 / SX1 as well - thanks for reporting, fboesch !

About the GCC 4.3.3 released with CHDK-Shell v213 FULL:

i have (as in Reply #212 in this thread) compiled it on the mini laptop for Pentium 1 MMX compatibility.

if somebody needs it (i somehow doubt it's gonna be a crowd  :D ) it's here:

CHDK-Shell-v214 (update and full version)

  • changed: GCC 4.3.3 will now run on old machines just like GCC 3.4.6 (pentium mmx) - see previous post

  • changed: added Accelerators aka 'keyboard shortcuts' - <Alt> + D toggles between mini & main GUI and <Alt> + C between main and card menu etc.

  • fixed: disabled taskbar icon popups when miniGUI or CardTricks menu is active

  • fixed: 'Last Check' time & duration now better synchronised between main and miniGUI,  orange 'net dropout' background now also shown in miniGUI.
