New version CHDK-Shell v. 1.25

- card sub menu now updated to CardTricks 1.25 level
- source code, and CHDK User defined PREFS are in dedicated folders now
- included unzip, unrar and wget will now be removed after install
- better large font support (still far from perfect, though ...)
- added readme.txt especially for users with existing dev kit install

works good :)
suggestion: make user values editing easer, as in show only the interger values or color values whatever ;)

@PhyrePhox

That should not be that difficult, but it's not gonna be high on my priority list, considering
that this is basically for things that the user feels are defaulted to a value that's wrong for
their specific use of CHDK, so the user would rarely change the definition of their prefs.
The way I see it, you Extract/Edit only once, then use your prefs on later builds; the apply routine
will warn if it finds discrepancies, that is , it will only replace if the configurable part of the line
is the ONLY thing that's changed.
That said, I might also not be online (or even on computer) very much the next couple of days,
a trip to the Pyrenees is being prepared for..

BTW Does this program actually run under Wine + Linux ? And, if so which Linux ?

Dont forget to take your cam to the trip,and dont forget chdk ;) all i have on my cam are testpics and testvideos,its a shame :(
program runs under suse linux,didnt test extraction of gcc and compilation yet,but svn update works.compilation i tested in a real windows :)

edit: tested compilation. well, cleaning is okay, but as soon as it wants to do "pakwif.c -> pakwif.o" it fails :(
Quote
gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `as': No such file or directory

Y:\chdk\src\whim\gcc\bin\gmake[1]: *** [pakwif.o] Error 1

gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
that's the error it is throwing :D
dont invest too much time finding out how to fix that though, as i think most people on linux can compile :D

@PhyrePhox
I wouldn't be able to fix it if my life depended on it - i've never even seen Wine. Most of the stuff I know about
Linux I got from my fav computer magazine (german: c't) In fact, I was only curious if the Windows interface
worked OK on Wine...that said looking more closely at the error, it seems that it's GCC rather than the shell
that barfs, not surprising considering you're trying to emulate (under Wine) a mingw GCC (which itself is a
Linux emulation under Windows) ...

forgetting CHDK ? impossible, it's on all my cards - and even though it's fairly primitive out there, I'll still have
full internet access, just a bit slower than usual, plus I would never go on any far trip without a couple laptops
and camera's with me  :haha

see you,

wim

I'm in use gcc shell 1.25. Now I have BUILD_NUMBER := 55 in my sources of CHDK, but after compiling them by gcc shell I have a zipped firmware filename as 56 (firmware-camera-version-56.zip). why? when I run firmware in camera it show me as 55 build (it's OK, but zip file name has wrong build number)
