Can you please post your CCHDK.CFG file.

Phil.

Edit: Also try deleting your old CCHDK.CFG file from the SD card - the previous build with the config error may have created a bad config file.

If you are going to move current reyalp-flt to trunk could you replace tbox.c code with the patched one:
(direct link to attachment)

Description here:
http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=7272.msg79760#msg79760

There is a smal fix for keyboard position on the screen. I thought that tsvstar will do changes in reyalp-flt but maybe he had no time.

I've applied the text box change to reyalp-flt (changeset 1563).

The text box works well - nice job everyone.

I'm not convinced that the module interface and the whole 'charmap' handling is a good solution though.
Seems like needless complication of the whole text box system to me.

Changeset 1569 merges all the module updates from reyalp-flt back into the main trunk.

Note: due to other changes committed to the trunk the index of the text box charmap setting has changed. CHDK config files from the reyalp-flt branch may lose this setting when using the trunk version.

The text box module file is not compatible between reyalp-flt and trunk due to changes in the language string indexes.

Here are two CCHDK.CFG #1546 compile, one before delete(BD) and the second after(AD).  I do delete cfg file usually but with camera, this time delete done with card reader, no diff.  Config file not wriotten after camera run, but after parameter changes then camera shut down cfg file written.  I changed cusor background for orange new config written sent here for you.

The color display in the menu should be fixed in changeset 1575.
Note this is now in the main trunk, not the reyalp-flt branch.

changeset 1569 reuses a conf number in core/conf.c

Code: [Select]
    CONF_INFO(248, conf.remote_switch_type,  CONF_DEF_VALUE, i:0, NULL),
    CONF_INFO(249, conf.remote_control_mode,  CONF_DEF_VALUE, i:0, NULL),
// Text Box char map file
    CONF_INFO(248, conf.charmap_file,        CONF_CHAR_PTR,   ptr:"", NULL),

The last one should be 250.
