You cannot currently do this. All the code is open source though, so you are welcome to implement it. Or you could spend $20 on a webcam that does quite a bit better video than the chdk live view.

Oh, that sux... i know it is OS but i dont feel well in it and can't really do this.

Is someone working on implementation of webcam into chdk?


and about cam i dont *really* need web cam, i was wondering if it is possible

I would like to implement this eventually, but it's not a a high priority for me.

If anyone knows of an easy to use,  free (preferably open source) library that lets you do this, I'd like to hear about it. I looked at SCFH DSF a bit, but didn't see a straight forward way to re-use that code.
