Hello all,

so there i was, googling for a compact that supports RAW files, found you, and found out your software supports my a480, woohoo!

You have given my camera a new lease of life, ive even bought a tripod now

My only issue is i now have camera envy and badly want a new better camera now! Of course id love a dslr but cant justify cost, at least now i can make sure when i do upgrade to get a camera supported by chdk

Thanks again for helping me rediscover my photography addiction.

Thanks for the links

at the moment im saving in dng format which is working fine if slow saving. Ordered a class 10 8gb card, hopfully be quicker than crappy 2gb minisd im using via adaptor as of now

I have found using a Class 10 card makes quite a difference. An 8G card on your a480 will require dual partitions of you want to "autoboot" it.
