I'm attempting to download CHDK for my son's SX100, but cannot understand the instructions well. From what I gather, the software development is not yet complete for this camera, but you can somehow get it to work anyway. I do have the sx100-1.00b-firmware.zip and ver.req files ready for use, but that's about as far as I am. Any help would be appreciated on where to turn next. Thanks. :)

Nope, there ain't no SX100 build.  All you're seeing is the dump of the firmware that's already in the camera. Oh, how I long for a build for my SX100, but I'm not enough of a programmer to figure out how to find the routines in the camera.

Becker, your gonna have to be patient, CHDK for the SX100 will come. It probably just needs one person to make a breakthrough and the rest will follow.

I for one wish I could code like a pro, then I'd be on the case myself.
