in short I followed the instructions described in Bootable SD Card section for cameras before 2011 in order to use the "SD Card Lock" method.
Thanks, I managed to download a version, a2100-100a-1.1.0-full_ALPHA_rev_1010.zip. My problem now is that I can't get the camera to boot the DISKBOOT.BIN file. I had a 8MB SD card with one FAT32 partition. After reading "Prepare your SD card" info I shrinked the FAT32 partition and created a 1 MB FAT16 partition, in short I followed the instructions described in Bootable SD Card section for cameras before 2011 in order to use the "SD Card Lock" method. No boot, just a "No Image" screen and "Card Locked" warning when turning on using Play button even though there are images on the FAT32 partition. (Card was modified using gparted and following Linux 'Method #'2 )Any suggestions ? Regards,Per W.
As this is the German version I do have some challenges but I'll do my best.
If you delete the german.lng file from your SD card, CHDK-DE will display most things in English.
