Having problems taking RAWs

I'm having a little bit of trouble taking RAW photos. Its acting like it takes the RAW photo because the camera takes about 3 times as long to write it to the disk as it does in just JPG mode but when i plug the camera in and open it via aperture all i can see is the 6mb JPG file. Im not new to raw shooting and love it for making HDR comps from a single image when ghosting would be a problem through a series of shots.

My thoughts are that either Aperture can read the Raw CHDK file or they hard hidden some where on the card. right now I have to plug in the camera as I do not have a card reader with me.

Im using a PS A3300 IS

RAWs should be in 100CANON directory. You can set the CHDK to save it in the same directory where JPGs (see RAW settings in CHDK menu). It is possible that the software doesn't see these files. You can try to set the extension of the file to JPG or MOV or other in RAW menu - then the files should be visible. After download you can change the extension.
