How do you toggle RAW on this camera?

The manual says:

Also, while in <ALT> mode the following buttons are reassigned:

A Series – Exposure/Erase  - Toggles RAW capture mode

But, my A series camera doesn't have an Exposure/Erase button.

When in [alt] mode, the [DISP] button activates the Main Menu.

Are you asking how to enable RAW with the CHDK menus ?

Or are you looking for the "shortcut" that turns RAW On/Off without going through the menus ?

Either way, its good to let us know what camera you have - A000SIS is not a camera.  Also, the version of CHDK you are using matters too so give us the complete name of the zip file you used.

Sorry, typo in the title.

CHDK 1.1.0-2134, Rev 0, Sep 8, 2012.

I'm looking for the shortcut to toggle RAW.

The user guide I have says that on the A series of cameras you use Exposure/Erase to toggle RAW capture mode while in <ALT> mode.

My camera either doesn't have an Exposure/Erase button or I don't know where it is.

its <ALT> + "+/-" - Toggle Saving Raw

The whole shortcut thing has been reworked in the current dev trunk.  Eventually that will become the stable branch and most of the old mess will go away.

Like I said - shortcuts are a mess.

On two of my cameras, the +/- key is the "up" key on the dial.  It says "ISO" on your camera in that spot.

But neither of the cams toggles RAW when I half-press and touch there.

So, the short answer is that there probably is no way to toggle RAW on my camera.

I'll stop looking.

The code appears to have CAM_HAS_ERASE_BUTTON defined, so CHDK thinks it has a separate erase button even though it doesn't. If you tell us which Canon firmware version you have (100a or 100b) we can you make a test build with this fixed.

But this is not a huge deal. I'm just learning this and was curious about that shortcut. It's not worth spending a lot of time on when there must be higher priorities.
