@acseven :  there have been several people recently who have had trouble registering on this forum and it seems to be related to the email account provider they use ?   For example,   a name@google.com account works but name@google.de apparently does not.   One of the gentleman having trouble was from Chile.

Is this another side effect of the anti-spam measures ?

Hi,

google.com was also having issues. I have sorted that specific user's issue, and created a contact form accessible to guest viewers, but will try to sort out what's going on with those emails.

This is most likely not related with the anti-spam measures, it's probably some issue between SMF and this server configuration.

I was one of the guys having problems but was registered thanks to acseven through a contact I made in the wiki. Thanks for the help. FYI, acseven, I have in the meantime received a series of confirmation mails, so it seems the issue has been solved (by you?) and the forum is treating the backlog   ;)

The emails were suffering some issues, that I believe we've got rid of with this server migration.

Heyas - I registered using the "facebook" button, and now it has my email as "eofugate@facebook.com". Needless to say, i'm not receiving any confirmation emails. So, I go into my profile to change it up, and it says I need a password to make changes. The password I use for facebook is *not* working.

Please advise.

Hi, I don't understand why you mention "needless to say" - if emails are getting out correctly then you will receive a notification in facebook...

 This should only be wrong if emails aren't getting out again, but I'll check.
