Ok, the keyboard is not working. I took a picture and now after booting CHDK I can see the picture but nothing works.

Ok, having tested the autoboot I can say that the CHDK boots as there is a folder called CHDK on the SD card but after booting and after the logo I can see picture from the viewfinder for about two seconds after which the camera seems to crash. Is there any way to enable a debug log of somekind?

Has development stopped?  I wish I could help but I only know very limited C.

I took the easy route: stopped development and bought CHDK compatible camera.
