My sx130is has the same problem and the DFS also doesn't correct it much. And I have also this in top-left corner and the same color of the glow.
Does it work better if you to use a DFS image post-processing ?

I'll perform some tests for that and report it back in few minutes (hopefully).

I was sure that I saw the amp glow with DFS turned on in the past. But recent test showed, that this is not the case... Tested at 625 s exposure while camera staying on the lens on dark surface. DFS-on - no glow, DFS-off - glow. As expected.
