I live in Western Australia. I don't know what lenses, cameras or software were used to obtain the photos. The local newspaper released the photos and story as a regional photography and tourism promotion. All I know is what is contained in the newspaper article.
Judging from past experience, the newspaper starts receiving worldwide requests for print copies of individual photos and regional details. I will keep an eye on any farther releases and post the information.
The photographers did a god job of capturing the regional tranquility. Don't let the photos deceive you that the regions are permanently tranquil places. The photographers were at the right place and the right time.
The northern parts of the Western Australian landscape can be a photographer's dream and some of the most spectacular places on Earth. Also they can be some of the most unpredictable places on Earth with temperatures reaching up to 55 degrees Celsius in the water bag.
