script writing help appreciated to control drive mode with S100

Thanks to all the contributors in tis forum, I'm on the learning curve of script writing with mbasic
My goal is to write some pieces of script to be able to remotely control the camera with the camremote system.
one of the thing i would like to achieve is writing a subroutine for changing the drive from single to continous with bracketting with camera S100.
I've tried the set_property case 102, but i can confirm this is probably read only property case
I didn' t find any function to make this happen and unfortunately, the wheel_left (or right) is not effective with the S100. So i cannot simulate button clicking.
any idea ?
Tx
Michel

What's "camremote" ?   Do you have a link ? Is it this : Rig-Parts-Motion-Control-CAMremote ?

I found the same thing when I was trying to write scripts that could take a number of photos in quick succession.  If its possible,  its probably going to require a new function call to something in the firmware that has not been discovered yet.

This sounds like a bug - you should report it in the S100 porting thread

you've got it !
Camremote is actually made by http://vp-systems.eu/camremote.html and can be used for remote control. I use it successfully for years for kite aerial photography, but so far with non canon camera.
CHDK would probably allow some more flexibility and more photography oriented features !
example for script can be found here http://vp-systems.eu/support.html
I'll report the bug - or supposed so - in the link provided

I do not know if you aware, but Linnar (VP Systems) has collaborated with SDM for a number of years.

He has provided a number of scripts specifically for use with SDM.

There is currently a S100 build, if you wish to try it I will provide a link.

It is already being used by a number of KAP'rs.

I'm aware of Linnar's ability: they are by far larger than mine ;-)
I know nothing about sdm and when i took initiative to dive into scripts, i had in mind that S100 was not compatible with SDM.
and chdk pages are very helpful !
If you provide me with the link, i'll have a look: i will check if sdm is driving me crazy as fast as chdk ;-(
thanks a lot

No, the firmware version, 101b.

The S100 is currently being tested before official release so your comments with 101b will be useful.

Get it here https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17639456/SDM_S100_101b.zip

Contact me with an email address and I will tell you what to do next.
