How about a Note/Text Maker?

Would it be at all possible to make a Text maker? I know theres a text reader.
But maybe have an Onscreen Keyboard to make notes, dates, etc?

The only reason I ask is so I wont have to lug my PDA around too?

Im sorry I used search but I couldnt find anything, guess because I needed to use "editor" instead of maker
