<SOLVED> Problem with RAW & DNG format in Canon IXUS 115hs

Hi everyone, I am using Canon IXUS 115 HS and new with CHDK stuff. So, please help me.

I am using Shoot.bas script, and in RAW Parameters, I have selected 'Save as RAW' & 'Save in DNG', and the extensions are .CRW & .DNG. I have taken some pictures in both formats. But when I am connecting my camera to pc and browsing my photos, I have noticed that those photos are in .JPEG format, no DNG, no CRW. I have even tried with settings selecting RAW & DNG separately. But nothing changed. Is anything wrong in my settings?

Please tell me....

Your camera will save both JPG and RAW/DNG images when RAW/DNG is enabled. You cannot turn off the JPG, CHDK just adds RAW.

What you are seeing in the PC is the same JPG pictures you alway see. To get the RAW images, you need to read the SD card directly in a card reader in your PC. ( Sometimes you can change the file extension in the camera and your PC software will be able to see the RAW files too ... http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=5788.msg56577#msg56577 ).

yup, you are right.. .DNG and CRW files are shown while using a card reader..
