Hello Canon 320HS developers.  I am new to this list and I have three Canon 320HS cameras.  They were all purchased from different suppliers at different times, but they are all 1.00c version firmware.  I am a little confused where the firmware build is at for 1.00c.  I saw the following note from Hardware_Hacker
After some Error checks, I found that a droped "F" error in boot.c and a few other "Typo's"

So the Ixus 240-100c  now, Compiles Ok, Boots Ok, Runs Ok; but has some problems.
It now has very similar in behaviour to 101a and 102a.

I would like to be able to turn the camera on and off and use the intervalometer function.  Will the current build do this and where do I find the latest firmware build for 1.00c?

Thanks you,
Jim

There is no port for 100c, firmware dump is required.  Instructions to obtain a firmware dump are here.

Attached, Source for my build(s) of 240-100c and 240-100d

Note's in regard to the (old) 240-10Xx Builds:-

The Bad:-

* All this stuff is in "Storage" because I "Volunteered" to renovate a 100 year old house...(???)
* 240-10Xx are not capable of Remote Wi-Fi shooting via Canons Camera Window Software.
* 240-10Xx are not capable of Remote Wi-Fi shooting via "NFC" Canons Camera Window Software.
* A newer version, may be possible, from a very old backup copy (???)
* A newer version would still have all the errors as per old posts.

The Good, and slightly off the topic:-

* My Porting skills have "Improved" since the "Old" 240-100c version.
* I have been looking a the possibility of a "Simple" Android Phone/Tablet NFC "Hack".

The "NFC Hack" !dea is to have a NFC Antenna, next to the Phone/Tablet to "Collect" the NFC_RF
then send the NFC_RF along a 50 ohm Co-Ax cable which is then terminated and DC_Rectified so
as to produce a standard CHDK Remote +5 volt compatible control signals. No exteral battery is neded.

Currently this !dea is a W.I.P and still under construction. As "Usual" it sounds complicated but its
actually fairly simple and cheap. Camera control is via a Android, low level, command that turns the
NFC_RF On or Off, so, ... NO High Level Android NFC Protocols are required.

Comments, Anyone

@Hardware_Hacker: Could you share your firmware dump for 100c?
Thanks

Yes .... but from a old backup copy.

@ nafraf   (Ixus 240-10xx) Would you then host the, backup copy, source files.

@ nafraf  Re:-  Digic 4+ series of cameras, would you then host my, experimental, source files.

H-H

I now have a almost full set of "Double Blind" ports for the Digic 4+ series of cameras.

The method I used, is a improved version, but based on the old Ixus 240-100c porting method.

* Should I keep on De-bugging "Double Blind" ports for the Digic 4+ camera series.
* Or Should now post the source code for "Double Blind" ports for the Digic 4+ camera series.

@ nafraf   (Ixus 240-10xx) Would you then host the, backup copy, source files.
I can host  the source code on my personal svn during development, after testing port, code  can be committed to official svn.  Are you using code_gen tool? It is the easiest way to port a new firmware version.

What is the status of those ports?

Hello guys! I recently put chdk (the 100d version ) on my ixus 240. I played a little with it's functions and now every time I start the camera the intervalometer starts automatically and after I stop the script I can't go in the gallery because the play button doesn't work, did anyone have this problem? what should I do?
Ps: even if I start the camera in the gallery mode the intervalometer still starts :|

You probably turned on script autostart. After you stop the script, press the func menu and deselect that option.

To get the original function of the play button, hold it down for ~1/2 a second instead of just clicking.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
