CHDK not loading after I turn off the camera

I can install CHDK using the "new firmware" method.
When I restart the camera, I see the CHDK logo on the splash menu then I'm in the playback menu and I can access the Script menu after I enable ALT mode.  But when I turn off the camera, then turn it on, there's no CHDK logo on the splash screen and I can't use it (can't enable ALT mode).

Something I'm missing? I have search in the site for answer, but found nothing.

I have a G12, firmware version 1.00G

Thanks

I've formated my sd card in two partitions

CHDK works fine now. BUT: On my computer, I only have access to the boot partition: The sd card appears to have only 63 Mo, so I don't have access to my pictures.

Any idea?!

Thanks

You can use the "Swap Partition" menu item in the Miscellaneous -> SD Card menu to make the 2nd partition the visible to your PC.   You will have to reboot CHDK afterward using the "Firmware Update" method though so that you can go back to that menu and "Swap Parition" back.

Alternately,  the SDMinst program will swap partittions for you on your PC.

I rather used Wicks for the swapping 'cause I already used it.

Great everything works fine now. Can't wait to experiment CHDK.

Thanks a lot Waterwingz for you tips, make me search a little less.   ;)
