Hello gopiadusumilli and fe50, I am new to this chdk thing can u please explain what to do with the primary.bin file I downloaded, I hav sx500is with 8gb memory card, please help I will be looking forward to your positive reply.. Thank you..

The primary.bin is just a copy of the original Canon firmware. It is used by a developer to make a CHDK port. If you are developer, start here http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/For_Developers
