no editing in photoshop besides the cutting and pasting. two shots from the same position, at f2.x, one focused to the wall, one focused on the spraycan. as you can see - blur.
or did you joke when you said you used photoshop?

hehe, maybe we should turn this thread into "show your latest shots", i dont feel like opening a new thread. just kidding, this thread will stay yours, with one exception (this post :D).
got an idea how to "merge" these two pictures in a better way? the cut in the middle of the picture somehow looks too "forced" if you know what i mean. anyhow, just wanted to show shallow dof and stuff ;D
no my blur was done in photoshop lol. as for your question, try feathering a selection to make it fade (like apply a blurr to the feathered selection on the line where u want it to fade).

lol well looks like i lost the originals, thought i had them but they're gone. sorry.

While i was going through my pics trying to find those originals for mcx, i came across a pic i took a while ago but never developed in photoshop. Heres what i came up with really quick. Not that great but its atleast something.

Canon 5d
Canon 50mm f/1.8

Beautiful pictures you have there!

Would you be kind enough to share you tonemapping settings?

Would appreciate it very much as I am struggling to master tonemapping.

thanks in advance. :)

I think you definitely have a future in this. These are great features that CHDK brings to these little P7S cameras, but you're exhibiting a true "eye" for photography with what you've presented here. You're composing photos with maturity that makes me surprised that you are young as you are.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing!
Whoa-Hey! Careful where you point that thing. You're gonna shoot someone!

These are really impressive shots - nice work!  I've been trying to do some hdr photography w/ my sd1000 and the chdk firmware but haven't found a good bracketing script yet, or maybe I haven't tweaked it properly.  Do you have a recommendation or the code from the script you use?

Thanks,
Arnab

You could try OMNI-Interval. It has built in TV bracketing when using it in continuous mode (for HDR).

Coutts,

Really just amazing shots!! Thanks for sharing! It's real motivating to a newbie like me to know that this kind of work is possible.
