Sorry if this should be in the Forum issues section rather than the CHDK request section, but was unsure where to post!!

while a usergallery within the chdk forum would be nice, there already is a chdk photopool @ flickr: Flickr: chdk

Yeah, I have seen that Flickr group too.  But again that was by clicking around on the forum and searching Flickr for CHDk images.  I just thought it would be a good idea to have a Forum section for posting images, the tech specs used to get them, and get a long discussion going with users adding their examples etc.

I don't know why, but I haven't yet dived into the whole Flickr world..!

Totally agree with you there Barney, links to hosted images by default.  I wouldn't even consider the Forum hosting them all, that would take some going!!!  It's so easy to get some free space on the web now, even linking to Flickr if you wanted.. Can you embed images from Flickr like a normal URL??

didnt know flickr allows such kind of linking.well, always something new.
the pic is from the chdk group btw, und to serve the photographer some justice, this is the text he wrote:

We went in search of snow yesterday and found it in the Oberbergische district. The kids loved it!

CHDK made it possible to reduce the shutter time way down so that only a little part of the sky was blown out. This is blended from 4 images. Really would look much better with a really wide angled lens and not just 35mm!

AFAIK flickr doesn't give a sheet.
But photographers tend to dislike these kind of links unless you credit them.
