I am using the CHDK built in exposure bracketing in continuous shot mode.  The max exposure time is limited to 15 seconds (on almost all canons I have seen).  For example if the normal exposure shot requires 6 seconds, my +2 EV shot gets clipped at 15 seconds instead of 24 seconds.  The way I get around is to reluctantly bump up the ISO.  Is there any trick to get around the 15 seconds w/o resorting to HDR scripts?  I much prefer the continuous bracket mode in CHDK to some scripts.  Thanks.

There's no 15s limit when using the CHDK exposure bracketing. Depending on the camera the exposure limit is at least ~64 seconds, on many cameras with the "extra long exposure" feature exposures upt to 1000 or 2048 seconds are possible.

I am aware that you can override the shutter time (even 64 seconds or more) for single shots.  But when you enable 'Bracketing in continuous mode', it falls back to the camera intrinsic limit of 15 seconds.  I hope I am not missing something.

I just posted on this issue before I read your observation.

What I have found on my S95 is the exposure is correct, ie longer that 15s, but the camera always says th exposure is 15s when 15s or greater.
