Some interesting articles Andrew.
I guess you missed my post : http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=8801.msg94305#msg94305

Anyway, now we both have one and I am spending time learning its features.

Are you aware of SDM's sister programme SPM (StereoPhoto Maker) ?

For the batch creation of anaglyphs or any other stereo images it makes life very simple.

Microfunguy,

I really like the Rigol oscilloscope for general electronics use like working on PIC microcontroller based interrupts for PPM servo timing. My only gripe with the scope is that the Rigol's X-Y mode is a bit underwhelming when drawing vector graphics compared to a traditional analog scope.

Thanks for the link to the thread: CHDKPTP: S90 Primary Focal Plane Configuration - hacking out the CCD. That is a really neat camera modding project!

I really like the lens disassembly photos on the first page. After doing a lot of timelapses with Canon cameras I have experienced dust on the imagers. With a DSLR camera it is easy to pop the lens off and clean the imager with a sensor swab.  At this point I'm a bit intimidated with the idea of taking apart my Powershot camera to clean the CCD. When I finally decide to clean the sensor dust I will probably do an infrared conversion on the Powershot.

For the batch creation of anaglyphs or any other stereo images it makes life very simple.

I like your StereoPhoto Maker suggestion, as I hadn't thought of using SPM to batch process images.

In the past I have used StereoPhoto Maker to manually create anaglyph phantogram images but the modal window interface is a bit of a chore to use when trying to accurately align a set of high resolution images.
