Hello!

Please help me to install chdk on my SX1 IS. In a wiki a read that sx1 doesn't support manually loading. I followed the instructions, and make next steps:
1) format my SD card (2Gb) with FAT
2) copy DISKBOOT.BIN, vers.req and CHDK folder to the card.
After inserting card in SX1 I didn't see any changes. When I try to lock (write-protect) card - my SX1 just says: "Card is locked", and nothing about CHDK.
Additionally, I tried format SD card using HP USB Disk Storage format tool (tried to make bootable drive).
Maybe problem in using Micro-SD with adaptor?
What I must exactly do, to install CHDK to SX1? Please help!

The SD card must also be "CHDK bootable" ("BOOTDISK" at offset 40h on the mbr);

I successfully installed CHDK with "Card tricks". And already take some pictures with long exposure time. Awesome. This was the main thing, that I wanted.
What else in CHDK can be useful to take cool-looking pictures?

it worked? how did it work?
i used card tricks, too, but it's not working, after i turn on the lock of the card, it not allowing me to take any pictures, not to even mention accessing CHDK...
please help.... perhaps a video? 
the sx1 is doesn't have a shortcut button, neither does it have a face button, how do you activate CHDK?

The shortcut ('Alt') button on the SX1 is the "print" button at the top left on the back.

The simplest way to install CHDK is to use my STICK app - see http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/stick/stick.html
