I am using: philmoz-reorg@2416 and the SX40HS-100i.

Please test the fixes in revision 2420 in the philmoz-reorg branch.

If this works I'll add the changes to trunk and release-1.1.

Just looked at http://trac.assembla.com/chdk/changeset/2420.   Not exactly a trivial fix! Thanks for looking into this philmoz.
