Hi Guys,

Is there any chance for CHDK for the ixus 240HS? Missed out on the 220hs and the 240hs sounds like a good deal. Would be awesome to see CHDK for the ixus 240hs.......

There is always a chance ... the track record these days is pretty good.

Being Dutch with English not my native language I don't totally understand what ou mean with: the track record these days is pretty good....

In this case,  I was trying to be positive.  The link I posted says that CHDK ports are only done when someone with the time, skills and access to the camera decides to volunteer to do the port. There is no schedule or plan.  However,  our recent "track record" of getting it done despite not always having all three requirements has been pretty good. But that's not guaranteed

I was taking your reply positive  8)
Was't aware of the 240/320HS thread. Did a search for ixus 240hs and found nothing.
Now I see the track record you were mentioning. Looks promising.
Now I can take the "risk" to get the ixus 240HS for serious shooting.
