get_image_dir is currently only available in the unstable trunk builds.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

I think you're telling me I can't therefore use the script from msl.

Pity.

Many thanks for educating me.

Cheers

160: attempt to call global 'get_image_dir' (a null value)

As reyalp wrote, you need a recent version of CHDK 1.2. Version 1.1 does not support this function.

Sorry for this misunderstanding.

msl

Just a final query, if I download 1.2 (and I understand it is a development product), would the script run OK?

Cheers

Yes, install the CHDK version 1.2 and the script runs.

When the script is finished, you will find a log file in the folder CHDK/LOGS.

First: thank you msl and waterwingz: you have both been very helpful and patient.

Script runs on my S95(k) perfectly if I load CHDK 1.2.

I also note that dark frame runs ok in 1.2.

But no remote function in 1.2 (unless im missing it).

Also lots of developer 'stuff'.

Much looking forward to a user-released 1.2.

Once again, many thanks to both of you.

Cheers

Garry

Sorry me not looking correctly.

Remote is there but seems to still be playing up with the CA-1 in bracketing mode.

That's because the patch file I submitted has not been accepted yet.
