Was reading and discovered you CANNOT shoot in 'ALT' (which is just for the CHDK scripts, apparently).

Once preferences are set on CHDK menus......I switch into normal and the preferences from CHDK are working "behind the scenes" so to speak?

Is this correct????

I thought I did something incorrectly as shutter release button would not work......

Thank you for the response :)

I still have 15"/f2.7 on the bottom of the screen from my "old" settings when I switch back from 'ALT'.does that belong there?
