Apologise if this in the wrong section, but I assume my question falls under creative!

I've just got home with my Canon SX1 and notice it can't zoom while exposing :/

Is it at all possible to allow zooming during a long exposure at all (zoom burst or zoom blur)? I see one gets some great creative shots that way!
