Yes, there are no curtains but still you got 2 settings for the slow syncro flash, 1st curtain and 2nd curtain, but then again maybe this can be a lingvistic issue due to the translation of the firmware. Still, wich one is better to use?

What's great about CHDK and these tiny inexpensive cameras with lightning fast electronic shutters is that we don't have to use the flash to freeze our drops. We can just set the shutter to work faster than most flash units and make sure there's enough light.

Here is picture I posted previously taken in bright sunlight (note shadow of water stream)

I still can't believe what my SD600 does with CHDK... the results were simply astounding.





the watermark on the bottom left corner is my real name (also my ID in many other forums ;) )

sorry for rising this old thread btw, but I figured that this one already existed, why bother making a new one? ;)
