My sx260 is dead. The power started coming on erratically for a few days, and has now stopped coming on at all, either by holding the power button or the play button down.
I think it's probably related to opening and closing the battery door a few million times. The power isn't supposed to come on with the battery door open. I think it's still under warranty, so I can send it back to Canon for repair.
But has anyone been able to bypass the battery door open sensor? Thanks.
