how does one download chdk for the canon sx40(vers.  100i) into a SDHC card (8gb or larger)(class 10). I am presently using
a 2gb sd card Pny premium holds only 50 min of vedeo) probably a class 4  and it is slow when taking pictures in raw in that the processing time between taking pictures is slow. On another chdk forum on  the sx40 (flickr) i was told that infact a class 10 card sdhc will speed up raw.  Thanks for your help!!

Study this wiki page and follow the instructions for cameras released after 2010 (like the sx40hs).

It will speed it up somewhat but there will still be a delay as CHDK prepares the RAW image to save on the card.
