the main problem in my case        is that i m not able to find or use the alt button
I'll send you a private message with the link to a new version.  Please test it and report.

Can you pls send me latest 101a? I get CHDK splash screen for ~1s and icons across top, but Play button doesn't take me in and out of Alt mode, I cannot get CHDK menu. Thank you.

OK,  correction:

By second test, was bad pixel "only" 14 611

I found that the number of bad pixels went up a lot as the temperature went up.  So, using a single badpixel map probably isn't a good idea in that a map taken at a low temperature will be missing many bad pixels when the temperature is higher, and a map taken at a high temperature will force interpolation over pixels that are working properly under cooler temperatures.  I guess the second situation is less bad than the first.

On the version 1.3 DNG files I produced, it looks like the bad pixels are set to zero (i.e. the FixBadPixelsConstant opcode shows the constant is '0').  I don't know anything about Therapee, but if it allows you to interpolate over pixels which are zeroed, then that's probably a better way to fix your RAW images than using a single badpixel map.  Reyalp pointed out earlier that the camera has many temperature-dependent badpixel maps, so let it choose the best one for you.

Are you asking specifically for the 101a firmware?  I know that chdkptp liveview works for the 101b firmware.

Yes the question was for 101a firmware, because it is under testing before adding it to autobuild server.

Did you test Long exposure with 101b? Thanks.

Long exposure (from standart menu of device) works on canon A4000IS with firmware 101a and Chdk.

I took some pictures after setting up the camera for long exposures by hand.  Is there some CHDK-specific way to set this up that you wanted tested?  Anyway, the DNG images turned out, but overexposed areas had a pinkish tinge.  This was also true of the same JPG files, but much less so as compared to the DNG files.  The data in the DNG files also seems noisier and darker.  I don't know if this is all due to ufraw.

The aim is to test if exp_drv_task() is implemented correctly, so Long exposure test (t>64) should be done.

Using CHDK menu:
Enhanced Photo Operations ->
Override Tv [LongExp]
Long Exp. Value [ * ][00:01:10]

OK, it works

Okay, it took me a while to figure out how to switch between the time fields (focus switch), but I finally got it to shoot for 00:01:10.  The DNGs still showed the same problems with tinging compared to the JPGs, but other than that, it seemed to work fine.  Out of the five shots I took, one of them had a corrupted JPG.  The DNG file was fine for that shot, so I don't know what happened there.
