Hi, just discovered this wonderful project from Wired's Wiki and I was wondering if my Canon Ixus70 with Firmware 1.0.0.0 would be able to use this firmware? The firmware listed as capable in the CHDK Wiki is Fw: 1.01b, 1.02a, I was just wondering if I have to try and upgrade the cameras original firmware before even being able to use CHDK.

That's not your true firmware # - go to:

Common misconseption. That is not really the firmware of the camera.

If your Firmware is 1.00c, 1.01b or 1.02a you can download CHDK from here:
