Hello,

I set up two SD cards using Cardtricks a few days apart.
one version Allbest S5IS-101b-51-462 was downloaded.
A few days later when setting up my second card
version Allbest S5IS-101b-51-485 was downloaded.
Is there much difference between the versions?
should I up date my cards like once a month etc.?

 I'm very impressed with  CHDK, I'd like to thank everyone evolved
with the project.

Another question.
I'm using new 2650 mAh NiMH batteries. The battery meter reads a low %
after just a few pictures.
Should I change the default values.

You can see here: /trunk (log) - chdk - Trac what every new version changes/adds/fixes - decide for yourself whether you need an update or not.

About your NiMH problem:

They have a non linear discharge curve, the voltage of one cell drops quite rapid from about 1.5V (fully charged) to 1.2V - and sticks around that voltage until they are almost empty, thats when the voltage starts dropping again.

You're probably better off if you let chdk show you the absolute voltage, and not the percentage.
