Installed CHDK onto my Card, but when the write protect switch is on, the camera wont boot, it will only turn on if I turn the write protect switch off, or take the card out.

Yes,
ON, OFF button not work to normal start.
Tray: Press PLAYBACK button cca 3 sec. - led blink - CHDK start on playback mode.
- ALT menu button is "PLAYBACK" default. You can change it in menu later - to HELP button.
- half press RELEASE button - to switch to CAPTURE mode.
- OFF button work - but only switch to OFF.

Yea, just figured that out, works well, we just need the On/Off button working now.

It is a bug.
Please test this version and report.

Ok, this works fine, except...

Bugs:
  • On Power on, goes straight to Playback mode (Might have missed a menu option?)
  • When using CHDK menu, it sometimes flashes
  • CHDK GUI sometimes flashes
Other than those, there is nothing else I have spotted.
Got it working on my 32gb Kingston Card (FAT32 Formatted), using EOScard to make it bootable.
Tried RAW mode, but the Card is only Class 4 so it's too slow really.
Also, i'm going to add a link to this page on the Wikia if that's alright.

"SX series – (And models with separate playback and record buttons) To turn the camera on directly into record mode, hold the On /Off button for ~ one second. When switched on, pressing the shutter button full or half will switch to record mode from playback mode."
Please try if it is working as expected.

It is better if you finish the tests to add the files to autobuild server.
Some other things to test:

- Long exposure
- Video quality override
- chdkptp connection + liveview?

EDIT
I found a bug in capt_seq.c, prealpha03 version fix it.
I created files for 100d too.  Please test and report.

I tested ar2400-100e-1.r2.0-r2-full.zip - USB remote synch
One Push - Normal/quick/burst - working ok.
One Push - bracket - take only one shot (I will test again).
Two Push - Normal - working ok.
One Push - Video - not work. Some times take photo, no video. Sometime crash - black screen.
