Thanks, I saw a error in ubtest.bas logfile. Counter is not updating. I'll check it and I'll post a new version.

Is CHDK interface working well? Is it flickering?

The A2400 was released in 2012 so you don't need to use two partitions.   Simply format your card as a single FAT32 partition if the card is larger than 4G.

Kingston MicroSDHC 8Gb.

Format Fat32; copy CHDK and diskboot.bin; make bootable with EOSCard; start camera with [>] button
CHDK not started

Format Fat16; copy CHDK and diskboot.bin; make bootable with EOSCard; start camera with [>] button
CHDK started, but partitions only 4Gb

wtf?

I guess you did not read through the link I posted for you.  So to make it easy, just  use STICK

Format Fat32; copy CHDK and diskboot.bin; make bootable with EOSCard; start camera with [>] button
CHDK not started
Make sure EOSCard is saving the boot string at 0x1E ( i.e. for a FAT32 card)

This is normal - FAT16 partitions can only be 4G max.

No official build is available for this camera

Damn
In my system EOSCard (EOSCard 1.32) is saving the boot string at 0x05C.

workaround:
Format Fat16 -> copy CHDK and diskboot.bin -> make bootable -> start camera with [>] button ->
CHDK started -> Format in camera (+ low lewel) -> make bootable from CHDK -> copy CHDK and diskboot.bin -> start camera with [>] button -> CHDK started (full 7Gb)

Thanks for testing and report.
I included enabled_refresh_physical_screen and it is used inside vid_bitmap_refresh (as done in A3000). Please test this version and check if  flicker continues.
Hmm, the plot thickens. Did some testing, nope, still flickers. So went back to my version, tested that, it also flickers. So sorry, it appears I wasn't testing very well.

Testing some more, what happens is that shortly after turning on the CHDK overlay (OSD, menu, etc) appears to be cleared and then redrawn again. It flickers every so often after this too while in shooting mode. It's not a bad flicker, and it's only very quick, and it's not continuous.

Not sure if that helps at all sorry.

I have not found the  bug, if it is not a too bad, I'll continue checking other features.
Could you run llibtst.lua script and post the log file? a2400-100d

Is there any way I can get hold of the 100e script to test please?  Attempted link from earlier in thread but it required userid/password.
