Canon A810 --> time-lapse faster then 1 frame every 5 sec. possible?

Hi,

i just bought a cheap Canon A810 for trying out CHDK. I used first the Interval script which was included in CHDK, and after that i tried out a script i found in the wiki. in both cases i tried out several options. but sadly, the shortest interval between 2 pictures seems to be something about 5 seconds. when i adjust a shorter interval (1 - 4sec) the cam takes also a picture every 5 seconds. (same with smallest resolution and fixed focus) ... is there any possibility to make more photos in short time (for example a picture every 1, 2 or 3 seconds) or is just my cam to slow. (the SD card is a class10)

any idea?

Here's a couple of things you can try.  The first should get you below 3 seconds per shot and the second shows how to use your cameras built-in continuous shooting mode to go faster.
