Reminder of CHDK setting overriding

It would be nice to have a reminder on the screen when CHDK is overriding camera settings like the shutter speed etc...

It could be done one of these ways:

  • Splash screen at boot time, with a report of the overriden settings
  • Splash screen when entering the CHDK mode, with a report of the overriden settings
  • Some detailed indicator on the screen like the existing one, when the RAW mode is activated (one by overridden setting
  • Some generic warning sign just telling that CHDK "something" is overriding something

It can be a combination of some of the above points too.  For example, the 4th point may tell there is something overridden , and entering the CHDK mode, we'd get the splash screen at the 2nd point giving the complete information.

This would avoid such situations were you wonder why your camera doesn't work, while it is in fact using a 65s shutter speed.

I forgot sometimes turn off overriding too ;)
