SD870is (IXUS 860) Cannot find firmware update option

SD870is (IXUS 860) Cannot find firmware update option

Hi all,

I have DISKBOOT.bin and english.lng copied to the root of my sd card, but I can't see firmware update option.
I did the above step on Windows.

There is no play mode on SD870IS, so I just power on and press the play button.

Any help appreciated.

I saw those and have already tried making the SD bootable. I got it to work finally by using a different SD card. ScanDisk UltraII didn't work.

That's the mistake. Camera formats 4GB cards as FAT32. Follow the FAQ instructions to get FAT16-formatted card. Then make it bootable as you did for another card.
