SX120 IS does it support firmware update method?

Tried to load CHDK, using firmware update method. - Start in Play mod,e menu shows update firmware choice goes to approve update screen.  Camera turns off when I "OK" the update.
As I understand ir I should see the CHDK logo.  I've checked the release version, all root directory files seem to be there and , of course, the CHDK folder.
Any ideas?

Many thanks...

Thanks for the input.  I tried the recommendations - no joy.  So I formated the SD card as bootable, using cardtricks and reinstalled CHDK.  On the boot I get the CHDK logo and battery/memory display enhancements, but I cant access the CHDK memu. My camera has no "Print" button, but the documentation says for SX100 (mine is SX120) use the "Disp" button (which I have then menu ), but alas no CHDK  menu just the nnrmal Canon menu.
Any further ideas?

Again, many thanks...

Cardtricks is pretty much obsolete as it does not really handle formatting SD card for cameras released after 2011 in FAT32 mode or cards bigger that 4G for older cameras.  Glad it worked for you - you might want to look at using STICK in future

Does Play [>] button act like <ALT> ?
According to wiki and source code, it should be FACE button. ???
Code: [Select]
// { 1, KEY_FACE      , 0x10000000 },
{ 1, KEY_PRINT     , 0x10000000 }, // Face -> Print

That's what the wiki link I posted above says too.

And the sx120 does not have the user configurable <ALT> button option enabled.

Thanks... You are probably right - Big fingers, and bad eyesight. I was probably hitting the "face" key also.  Batteries just died, so I can't do anymore today.

Appreciate the follow up.
