Getting close on the SD450 1.00d...HELP!

Here we go.   I got all the addresses by comparing my firmware to the 1.00c in the trunk.  Then I compiled the firmware.  Everything works correctly and it compiles without even a single warning.  Then I go to put it on my camera and update the firmware.  The camera even restarts - it doesn't freeze up.

The problem?  Once the camera restarts, it's still the original firmware - no changes.  I am using TRUNK, not any of the branches...

Here is my whole file structure:        EDIT: link removed - check reply #11 for the files!

The compiled chdk is in /bin/ if anyone with a 1.00d wants to try it out.  Can anyone tell me why it all looks right but won't work?

So can anyone please just tell me if this has ever happened to them?  How was it resolved?

xhanatos, did your camera just restart without any changes to it?

I tried it last night, and mine had the same problem as yours.  I apply the firmware, the camera resets, but it doesn't actually apply the firmware.  I, also, can't wait for this to be completed and work!!!  I just found out about this firmware update from a Wired article, and was bummed to find that my SD450 had the D firmware.  Good luck with completing this, and I will be more than happy to test any revision put out.  I check this multiple times a day, and I'm located in Ohio so you'll get responses during EST hours.

Fear not, my dear Barney.  Unlike the many standard, normal, everyday people that stumble upon this great technology, I took the time to read the wiki and whatnot to get the down and dirty scoop on the stuff.  I was just using firmware as a pretty much generic term for the software.  I guess from now on I'll just call it the "app".

Here it is.  I finished the SD450 1.00d port!

EDIT: Well...I THOUGHT it was done.  It boots up and everything, but as soon as I take a picture it shuts off.  I haven't fixed movie_rec yet.  Should that affect pictures as well as videos?
