PowerShot ELPH300HS (Firmware v1.01G) time laps not working

CHDK version I am using is ixus220_elph300hs-101g-1.2.0-2761-full_ALPHA.

When I try to shoot time laps with "ult_invl.bas" with focus override, it displays "1cycle time: 0min. 25sec" and it shoot unto 25 sec. I guess, then the screen goes dark. Lens stays open/extended. If I press the power button, the camera restart in normal mode.

How do make it keep shooting indefinitely? I did not find Cycle parameter in the script menu!

Thanks

This usually means the camera has crashed, maybe because of a bug in the port or something wrong with the script. In the CHDK menu, got to miscellaneous->debug->save ROM crashlog and post the ROMLOG.LOG file here.

You might want to check the ixus220 porting thread for any known issues: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=6341.800

Thanks for your reply reyalp, here is the log-

Code: [Select]
ASSERT!! AFScanDriver.c Line 1407
This tells us the camera crashed in Canon autofocus (AF) process. If  you are using subject distance overrides, this might be related. You can also try searching the forum for AFScanDriver.c to see if others have had similar problems.

You should check that the time "Occured Time  2013:05:05 19:41:26" is right for when the crash could have happened. Sometimes the camera can crash without making a romlog, and then you will just get the log from whatever was there before.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Thank you so very much for a very clear explanation! I am not a programmer, therefore no clue what is going on!

I will search for solutions

Thanks again! :)

Are you using focus overrides like "subject distance override" in the the menu, or set_focus in the script?
