Hi everyone im new here and wanted to know if someone can help me out

I have a sd450 and I have been trying to do the firmware hack for it but when ever I hit ok to do the firmware update it just hangs and does not reset. I have done both versions 1.00b and 1.00c but no luck

If you're really determined to get CHDK on your cam ASAP, then you
could try the universal dumper:

(read a bit and you'll find it) universal dumper - one more idea

or try this utility (sorry Windows only) zSHARE - cardtricks125.exe

either of these will help you make a firmware dump, which you then post in the firmware dumping forum.
(it's here: Firmware Dumping)
I don't know about the guys who dumped 100a and 100b, but asking their help couldn't hurt.

If, on the other hand, you're not the 'adventurous' type (in this fiield I mean) then I guess you
have to wait...
