Everything seems to be back online.   If anyone is still having trouble,  the DNS updates might take a couple more hours to get to you.

though the site is back up, ACID and STICK are still having trouble. The reason is that (by default) they look for "mighty-hoernsche.de" rather than "www.mighty-hoernsche.de". The DNS update appears to have reinstated the latter, but not the former (which certainly used to work).

Is there any way that "mighty-hoernsche.de" can be re-instated too? If not, I will have to issue updates for all 4 programs and users who've already downloaded them will have to do so again.

hacki reports that either URL works fine for him.   Testing on several of my machines using firefox and chrome show that to be true as well.

Is this just some final DNS update thing that will go away tomorrow?   Or a new "quirk"?

The download page has not been accessible from Australia since the first post.

14 May 2013, 12.51 PM Perth Time (WST + 8.00)

Firefox 20.0.1, URL: http://mighty-hoernsche.de/ working; downloaded Powershot S3IS full ok.

Works in Poland (Chrome 26.0.1410.63, Kubuntu 12.04.1).

I think browsers like Firefox and Chrome automagically add "www." to urls if necessary. My apps don't, but now I see they should have!

Testing shows that java apps like mine will find "www.mighty-hoernsche.de" but won't find "mighty-hoernsche.de" this morning. A simple ping has exactly the same problem.

ptpCamGui seems to be working now. The programm uses http://mighty-hoernsche.de or http://mighty-hoernsche.de/trunk . Maybe it was a DNS issue.

I can ping both www.mighty-hoernsche.de  and mighty-hoernsche.de successfully.
