Microfunguy Yes, and you seem to have it set for CHDK. Not sure what CHDK+ is. I still need to know the values of 'a' after you have pressed #8 for six seconds to enter the alternative mode. In that mode, press buttons #1 to #8 and note values of 'a'.
FreeFlow It doesn't bring any value to the screen. When I hold the button #8 down for 6 sec. the CR starts to blink and stays blinking. I then i try to press like #5 with #8 and nothing shows on the screen then the light flashes fast. I am trying it with all button combinations.
Microfunguy Reading it again, pressing #8 for six seconds changes profile, we don't want that. You are meant to press #8 and #1 to #7. Try that with script test.bas.

Microfunguy FreeFlow And you said you don't know what CHDK+ is...? Well, it seems to just be different pulse widths and that is the control method the script is intended for. Plug CAMremote into PC and set control method to CHDK+.
FreeFlow pressing both to start at the same time it rolls up on the screen with 19,19,18,17,20,18,etc, Pressing and hold #8 for 6 sec... the 6th sec is when the CR lights start their blinking.... letting go of #8 it will blink for 6 more sec.... then I tried after holding #8 for 6 sec, is letting #8 go then quickly pressing #8 & #7 at same time and nothing to the screen. I also tried to keep holding #8 and then pressing #5 after the 6 Sec and nothing.

FreeFlow I guess when you create 1 or all 7 profiles they are considered "CHDK+" Method... Going to try something now.
FreeFlow I created 3 different profiles and sent to CR with software. once I plugged it back into the camera setup it start taking pictures every couple sec. the RC-8 really don't do nothing the CR has a red light now. when i have the <ALT> on it stops the camera from shooting. it was showing like 158, 160.

FreeFlow we are on to something David. I first just clicked any general setting on the CR programming software and it acted a little nuts on me so then I totally / CLEAR and created a very basic with (( Any CHDK compatible)) and a USB/CHDK+ Control Method and when I hooked it all back up it was much better. Nothing Zoomed yet but when I held down the #6 button it did switch to MOVIE Mode. Then I could press #7 to start the Movie. Prior to that I could click #7 in photo mode and focus/shoot and take a photo. This battery is about dead for now. I can't thank you enough for all your help so far. Have a good one! Mark
