Hi Guys,
I ported Starfield, Sine Text, Trix and Plasma demos to CHDK from C code I had working on the Sony Playstation Portable.
They make an interesting benchmark test running on my S2 IS. I had to tweak the Plasma demo to run in 256 colours :)

haha, finally. already wondered when these will show up :)
these cameras are the perfect demo gadget, they come already equipped with a tv-out so you can show it to the demo crowd. plus, on the demo parties always someone has an ixus or other compatible cam at hand - good "victims" :D

Lol, I forgot about the TV out :)

Edit... added starfield demo to the video as well.
Could be handy to be able to program something that has a TV out.

Here's my intro demo with monochrome bitmap :)

It's weird to write because I don't know how screen blanking works,
so I have to draw a black mask over everything I print to erase it for the next frame.
